  • The New Format
    The Schools' Entrance Assessment Group
    (SEAG) have now replaced the old-style AQE/GL format.
    The Entrance Assessment consists of two papers, over two weekends & are marked by GL assessment.
  • Test Dates
    May - September 2024 - Applications
    Saturday 16th November - Paper 1
    Saturday 23rd November - Paper 2
    January 2025* - Results (date TBC)
  • What's in the papers?
    Each paper will include: 10 practice questions, 28 English Questions (22 multiple choice & 6 written), 28 Maths Questions (22 multiple choice & 6 written).
  • Statement of Outcome
    This is calculated from four areas: English Standardised Age Score; Maths Standardised Age Score; Total Standardised Age Score & Cohort Percentile Ranking.
  • Score Banding
    Band 1 – 60% CPR
    Band 2 – 50% – 59% CPR
    Band 3 – 40% – 49% CPR
    Band 4 – 30% – 39% CPR
    Band 5 – 20% – 29% CPR
    Band 6 – 20% and below CPR
