Do your students need extra support?
Need some extra help with supporting your students? Looking for a service that will work alongside your school and maintain your ethos?

We can help you!

Our online Learning Pods provide specialised, online (and in-person tuition), led exclusively by Qualified Teachers to small groups of 3-6 students. Learning Pods have been specifically created to assist schools and their students to support their learning.

Supporting schools as an Approved Tuition Partner for the NTP means that:

1. Our Qualified Teachers are monitored to ensure the support they deliver meets schools' expectations

2. Schools wishing to use NTP funding to commission tuition for their pupils can choose our provision

3. We have been quality assured by the DfE
What we do for you:
  • We'll complete the registration of each student on our platform on your behalf, so you don't have to!
  • We'll follow up on any absentee students at the start of each Learning Pod and also notify you.
  • We'll assess the students at the start and at the end of the Learning Pod series, so we can measure and demonstrate progress.
  • We'll provide a brief report for each student after each Learning Pod lesson, which can be sent to parents/guardians and Heads of Department - your choice.
  • If you have any particular requirements, let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate!
  • "We have been using Capital Tuition Group since returning in September, it has really helped to increase the capacity of support we can offer our students.
Professional in every sense, they always look to work with the school and are happily directed to the exact topics which we need them to deliver in order for the intervention to be effective."
    Deputy Headteacher, Epsom.
  • "I feel I have been able to deepen my understanding of our set texts and talk about them in a relaxed, friendly setting which I don't always get the opportunity to do. Rosie always tailors the sessions to our needs and makes the texts interesting to talk about. All in all it has been a great experience!"
    Lily, Wimbledon

National Tutoring Programme FAQ's

1."Do schools need to apply for the National Tutoring Programme funding?"
There is no requirement for schools to apply for this funding. The grant will be paid through ESFA as part of the DfE's scheduled payments to schools.

2."When will schools receive payment?"
Local authorities and academies will automatically receive their funding in three stages across the year.

3."Is this funding exclusively for pupils eligible for pupil premium?"
No, although the funding has previously been calculated based on pupils eligible for Pupil Premium, this is just a way of allocating funding per school. Teachers are free to use their own discretion to decide which pupils need additional tuition.

4."What funding is available to cover costs not covered by this funding?"
Schools can use existing school budgets such as Pupil Premium to cover the remaining costs.
