GCSE Science

Capital Tuition Group offers online GCSE Science Tuition for Years 10 & 11 (England) / Year 4 & 5 (Northern Ireland).

Qualified teachers conduct live, interactive sessions to replicate the classroom experience. Each class is comprised of 15 hours (1 hour per week on the same day & time) and runs only during Term Time.

All of our GCSE Tuition Classes accommodate all major exam boards across the UK including; Edexcel, AQA, OCR, CCEA, WJEC and more.
Can't pay for the course all in one go? Not to worry! You can use our 'Instalment' Payment Method and split the cost over the duration of the course with monthly payments.
  • HOW DOES IT WORK?
    1. You choose your tuition class, and make a payment either all in one go or via the instalment method to reserve your child's spot
    2. Once there is sufficient interest in the class, you will be sent a confirmation email detailing the lesson dates.
    3. You will be sent the lesson link 24 hours before and on the day of each lesson
    4. You will be sent a weekly report to update you on your child's learning.
    Rest assured that you will be refunded if the course isn't sufficiently booked!
  • How will I access the online lesson?
    These sessions will take place online, in the comfort of your own home using our fully interactive online teaching software.

    You will be sent a lesson link 24 hours before each session. You will need to access the online classroom using a laptop or a PC and have a fully-functioning mic and webcam.

    Recording live lessons without permission from Capital Tuition Group is not allowed and can lead to disciplinary action, including being reported to the Information Commissioner's Office or the police. Unauthorised recording, whether by staff or students, is strictly prohibited.

    Sharing lesson links with people who aren't part of the lesson is also prohibited. If you share a lesson link without permission, you could face disciplinary action, possibly including a ban from future lessons and loss of any prepaid tuition.
  • How do I pay in instalments?
    When checking out, select the option labelled 'I would like to pay in instalments'. You will then receive the following emails from Capital Tuition Group:

    1. Details of your order
    2. A welcome email with a link to set your password for your account
    3. A payment request for your first instalment
    You will have up until a day before the class is due to start to make this payment to ensure your child's place is reserved in the class.

    However, we recommend you reserve your child's spot as soon as possible to allow the tutor to prepare the topic list according to your child's requirements.

    The instalments will be split in 5 payments e.g. if the course you are buying is £360, you will make 5 payments of £72. We do not add interest.

    The first payment will reserve your child's spot in the class and will cover the first month of classes. The following instalments will be requested on the 1st of the remaining months over the duration of the class period.
  • CAN I BOOK MULTIPLE SUBJECTS?
    Of course! Our classes are scheduled so that a student could attend all three subjects without missing out on a single minute of tuition.
