Maths (Higher) 1 ~ Course Content

MATHS HIGHER 1

This course covers:

  1. Simplifying fractions
  2. Multiplying / Dividing fractions
  3. Adding / Subtracting fractions
  4. Order of operations
  5. Significant figures and decimal places
  6. Prime factors: multiple, factors and primes
  7. HCF and LCM
  8. Ratio
  9. Standard form with positive indices
  10. Standard form with negative indices
  11. x as a percentage of y / percentage change
  12. Percentage increase decrease

Students can continue with their Maths revision by joining MATHS 2, 3 and 4. Students are welcome to participate in multiple groups at the same time or consecutively. Please refer to the schedule for dates and times of each subject/group.
