On the 11th March, the World Health Organisation declared a global pandemic. This is a difficult time, particularly for our elderly and vulnerable communities and as such, we all have a responsibility to take steps to reduce the spread of the virus and keep one another safe. As such, the latest Government Health and Safety advice is that "People should avoid non-essential travel and work from home if they can".
Capital Tuition Group is, therefore, pleased to announce that all of our students and tutors are able to attend their sessions via TutorCruncher's streamlined online interactive whiteboard, if this is something that you would like to utilise. As qualified teachers, they are readily prepared to be flexible in accommodating a range of pedagogical delivery methods. Parents should feel free to request this option directly with tutors, who have been briefed to anticipate and prepare for a seamless switch to hosting their lessons online.
Online tuition via the whiteboard is easily accessible. You just sign into your TutorCruncher profile as usual and select the Interactive Whiteboard application. TutorCruncher recommends that you access the platform using Google Chrome as it is best optimised to support the application. Here, students and tutors will be able to hold their sessions via a face-to-face call.
Currently, the exams watchdogs advise that all teachers and students should continue to prepare for exams as usual. All deadlines for coursework, and other assessments, will remain in place. Capital Tuition Group will continue to ensure your child's tuition needs are met and to support their preparation so they can achieve in their final examinations.
Rest assured that we at Capital Tuition Group are all set up to work remotely and have access to our telephone system. Please feel free to contact us as you would usually.
